Mission Statement
The Medical Massage Therapy Institute provides educational resources for massage therapists. We offer a comprehensive review course for Natioanl and State Board examinstions in massage therapy.
In addition, we strive to improve the skills and knowledge base of massage therapists through the production of audio and video lectures, online educational articles, interactive review programs and live workshops.
Our focus is upon the assessment, treatment, rehabilitation and prevention of musculoskeletal disorders.
Your Host
Dr Gene Desepoli has been a licensed massage therapist for over 25 years. He is a chiropractor, a respiratory therapist and a certified strength and conditioning specialist. He is nationally certified in myofascial trigger point therapy and has advanced training in the assessment and treatment of muscular disorders.
He is the producer of the series of podcasts in the Massage Therapy Podcast Network and gives lectures and workshops in scientifically-based massage therapy. Students of his National and State Board Review Course in Massage Therapy consistently achieve over a 95% passing rate on the exam.
